Mr. Cheese, ah! He is so charming, and not to mention handsome. We all want a piece of Mr. Cheese. >_< haha

Alice in Wonderland! Excellent book. I'm trying to find a stupid layout. Yeargh.

Yes, yes indeed it is ^_^ Poets have been curiously silent on the subject of Cheese, don't you think? Perhaps I should write something . . . .

Perhaps an Alice layout? ^_^ Curiouser and curiouser!

Ode to Mr. Cheese:

Mr. Cheese,
Love me please,
You're so gouda
I shoulda
Called you to watch
Munster, Inc.
But Colby Jack
Called me first.

Alice would be awesome! But I can never find any that are cool and let me have an icon showing in each post. I've been searching forever.

Oh Sir Cheese -
With all of thine heart, I love thee!
For thou art like a breeze
- to a tolerable degree,
you dance among the air!
Unlike the rotten milk others doth enjoy -
You are sweet and never despair
And no matter how often you annoy
all of the fair maidens
You muster up more courage, hence
with pride you are laden!
(I imagine - mostly due to lack of sense)

Yes. Cheese.

Hmm ... I'm thinking you can do a quick layout like the one on 28days, then change the colors to Alice colors. I can make icons ^_^

Lord Cheese, you take my
Breath away with
Sharpness like a knife
And cut a slice of heart
Right out
To have me as your wife
Though to some extent I oft
do think
Henceforth, when cutting
things, Lord Cheese,
Will you give off such a stink?

That sounds lovely! What do you use to make icons? However, I think I want something rather more elegant, and perhaps a Pirates theme, because I am obsessed with it. :)

Sir Cheese, I do implore,
that you refrain from cutting anymore!
I cannot stand such stench -
though it does have tendency to quench
all desire to eat!
And though it's quite a treat
to feel no urge to feed,
I truly do need
a break from such odor!

^_^ I just crop images in MS Paint to 100X100 pixels. I can usually make some pretty cool (non animated) icons ^_^ Ooo ... pirates. I can totally dig making icons for that! =p

Thou art more fair than cheddar,
And ring more true than brie
But if you want my love and care,
Stay far away from me.
Sir Parmesan, you smell of death--
Of rot and tooth decay,
Though you go well with pasta,
My dostrils you do fray.

That would be awesome if you could make me some pirates icons! I collect icons. I'm pretty obsessed with them. >_< Pirates! What's your favorite movie?

Oh Swiss you are a silly cheese -
Who left the factory to soon!
And though I try not to tease
I can't help but think you a loon!
You left without fully forming -
missing half of your head
and I daresay it affects your performing
when showing off in bed

>_< Sorry about that.

Anyways, I collect icons too! We should trade off sometime (of course, all of mine are on photobucket, which my computer can't acces right not ;_;). Anyways, fave pirate movie is Pirates of the Caribbean, of course! Other than that, I love to much of everything to ever pick and choose =p

Oh, my all American cheese,
You fly your flag through the breeze.
Your cheery yellow simply boasts
The best melting on my toasts

And although you have no tang,
No zest, no happy zeal,
I can, to no avail,
Stop eating you on

Eh . . . that was pretty bad. T_T

Cool! I have so many, lol. I just click and save, click and save, whenever I find a good one. Then I put them on my iPod to covet later in the dark. >_> lol Yes! How would we go about trading??

I'm back! ::hugs::

Sliced cheese
is to please
all of the bees knees
It's not to sneeze
at or to tease
So count 1,2,3
calories like a disease
and eat the cheese
that is to please
in order to appease
that cheesy craving

Story of my life ^_^

We could probably just post a whole bunch in our journals (let's say a new post for every 25?). "Covet later in the dark" I'm like that about everything! ^_^

My dahling, you have returned! *hugs* Welcome back to the cheese lulz! :) (Ditto about the story of my life...)

The Queen of France liked her brie
And would eat it while squealing "Oui, oui!"
King thought she was cheating
And gave the brie such a beating
That it turned into brie a la creamy!

Ok. That was probably the worst poem ever. :P

Sure! Posts of 25 sound great. I'll do one later today. Cheers, cheese mate!

^_^ I feel so welcome!

Ah Cheese! I ate you on eggs!
This morning for breakfast,
Though I know it went straight to my legs.
So I must protest
Your tendency to stick
Where I do not want you
You're making me thick!
Oh! How I wish it weren't true!
You're so much better than eating glue!

You're poems are much better than mine! ^_^ I think we should publish a book or something. LMAO! Can you imagine?

I'll do one as soon as I decide which ones to post first ^_^

Oh, Cheese, you're
Yellow, crisp, and snappy
Never a bore
Soft, smooth, and snappy
Never a chore
Golden, melted, and happy
Give me some more!

Perhaps I should have put "Never a whore" for the last line.

What!? You lie. Your poems rock. Yes! A book! What should we call it? lol ^_^

I did an icon post! I hope you enjoy. :)

LMAO! I never would have noticed it was done twice! I think the second one should be 'zappy' ::nods:: Anyways ...

Cheese, oh Cheese! How I
Do adore your simple joy!
You're such a delight!

Haiku. Too lazy to rhyme -_- Anyways, I found that a single slice of kraft american cheese is wonderful (and low cal) when broken into small bits and topped with low-cal dressing on a salad. Adds oomph. It used to be a big 'no no' food for me.

Your poems are wonderful! So monster funny! ^_^

Yay! I'll be checking the icons in a bit and I'll post mine tomorrow ^_^ Woot!

*grins* Loverly poem. Haiku=awesome! ^_^ Would you believe that I dislike American cheese by itself? I know, it's sacrilige to the Cheese Nation. Only on grilled cheese, of course (which is a NO).

The breeze brought me
A whiff of cheese,
And followed it I did,
With an upturned nose,
And pointed toes,
I sniffed and sniffed and
For it turned out,
That my clever snout,
Smelled old pepper jack cheese!

Ok. That was pushing it. ^_^ Thank you! I love your poems as well. :)

I checked out your icons! They rock! I'll post another icon thing soon. :)

^_^ I can believe it because I don't like ANY cheese by itself ::bows head in shame:: It has to be in a sandwich, on a cracker, sprinkled on a salad, or something. -_-

I've just discovered
that cats like cheese more than mice
who simply prefer

peanut butter. How
strange it seems to me that mice
do not like cheese, but

that my cat will eat
-with joy- a cheese nip from my
palm. Cartoons are wrong.

Yes, stretching it indeed <---refering to own poem. Still - triple haiku=awesomeness beyond control (ego alert). But seriously, how funny is it that my cat was on binge control with me? I was about to eat cheese nips and she licked every one ^_^ Yay! More icons! ^_^

lol Guess we really let down the cheese.

Whoo hoo! Triple haiku=amazing. Your cat sounds awesome. ^_^

I saw a piece of cheese
On the street.
I was like
"Do I eat that?"
But then, I thought
The five second rule was
Long overdue,
And walked on.

Free verse, baby. >.< I think I might post icons either today or tomorrow! ^_^

I suppose we have, but the cheese doesn’t have to know, does it?

Thanks! And trust me, the cat is awesome. ^_^ Egyptian mau named Anisa – though she’s one of four (2 maus, 2 strays).

I have four cats
Two maus
Two strays
Two black
Two gray
But no matter the look
They all love one thing
They’re single hook –
A zesty zing
Of cheesy cheese
And cheesy crackers
So it’s easy to please
These cheese attackers

o_O That was horrid. Nice free verse though ^_^ Amazing, with the five second rule and all! Icons! I’ll probably post another 25 pretty soon myself – I just need to get off my internet-ass (note: the adjusted phrase to use when one is attempting to say they need to ‘get off their ass’ and do something on the internet, but are required to sit when typing, etc) and do it ^_^

Your cats sound cool! :)

The mouse he said quite lightly,
that cheese is mighty sprightly
and shines beautiful and brightly
on toast and crackers whitely
and is eaten in one bitey.
(To that I say "That's righty!")

>_> We won't talk about that poem, lol. It's rather . . . rhymey?

Seriously, I am always on my internet-ass. Awesome new phrase. ^_^ My turn to post icons! I shall do that soon.

Thanks! ^_^

To the mouse (and the cats along with other cheese-lovers)

The cheese has eyes
and sees you coming -
and when he does
he'll grow legs and start running.

The cheesse has ears
and hears you licking your lips -
and when he does
he'll think to fatten your hips.

The cheese has a mouth
and can tell you something -
"Don't eat me,
and you'll gain nothing."

Though it's silly, I kind of like the ring to it. ^_^ And rhymey-ness is funness! (Excuse that).

(sing to the tune of "Oh, Christmas Tree")
Ooooooh, Internet-ass
Ooooooh, Internet-ass
Ooooooh, how I love to sit on thee!
You're so small, and pale, and smooth!
Not at all like my true caboose!

Funny - we didn't have snow during the holidays, so I didn't feel the Jesus-mas spirit; but now that we have snow I'm singing Jesus-mas carols all of the time (I'm not really religious, by the way, I just think that it sounds more fun to say it like that). ^_^ Icons!

Cheese! It melts
And fades away . . .
Like life, so swift,
A day, adrift.
It floats so softly
Out of sight.
Like cheese.
Like cheese-

Aww! I love your poem. Very clever!

OMG your carol. That's hilarious. I think I might start using it, although my parents might not be too happy--but who cares about that? I was singing carols the other day, too! It just snowed here as well! (Coincedence!) I like snow. It's fluffy and white. ^_^ (Jesus-mas sounds very chic, lol.)
